Scope and Topics

The scope of the EAI CSECS 2024 – EAI Conference on Computer Science and Education in Computer Science (EAI CSECS 2024) covers a wide range of Computer Science research areas ranging from Software Engineering, Computer Networks, Internet of Things, Communication Technologies, Information Systems Engineering to Education in Computer Science including introduction and evaluation of computing programs, curricula, and online courses, to syllabus, laboratories, teaching, and pedagogy. Awards will be given for the Best Student Paper and the Best Mentor.

Paper Submission

Short papers can be within the range of 6 to 11 pages, and full papers are to be longer than 12 pages. Please indicate specific ranges for the type(s) of papers you wish to include in the main track of the conference.

Approximately 70-80% Full papers and 20-30% short papers

Publication

All registered papers will be submitted for publishing by Springer and made available through SpringerLink Digital Library.

Proceedings will be submitted for inclusion in leading indexing services, such as Web of Science, Compendex, Scopus, DBLP, EU Digital Library, IO-Port, MatchSciNet, Inspec and Zentralblatt MATH.

Fast-tracking of Journal Extensions

The conference best papers will be considered for a submission of extended versions to the Elsevier Performance Evaluation journal.

  • For invited papers, please add the line “”(Invited Paper)”” after the title of your paper.
  • Your paper must be submitted in PDF format. A PDF creator can be downloaded for Windows here.
  • Failure to meet the formatting guidelines set by ACM, could result in your paper not being included in the ACM Digital Library.
  • Please note that you will see this box at the bottom of the first page. This must remain in this location on your paper ie. at the bottom of the left column. This is the ACM copyright and document/conference identification.
